Transformer 70 V

Description

This 70 V transformer converts the mains supply into a lower 70-volt output for the electronics of a CNC or laser machine. In machines of this kind, a transformer like this typically feeds the motor drivers or a power board, giving them an isolated supply that is separate from the rest of the electrical cabinet.

A failing transformer often announces itself through a hum that grows louder, excessive heat, a burnt smell, or drivers that reset or lose power when the axes move. Keep it mounted firmly with space around it for air to circulate.
