For dependable output, connect the pump so it runs whenever the laser is firing, and wipe dust off its body and vents regularly, because a clogged housing traps heat. Rubber feet or a soft mat under the unit reduce vibration and noise. If the air coming out feels weak even with clear hoses, the internal pumping parts may be worn and the pump is due for replacement.
