Internal Socket 220 V

Description

This 220V internal socket is a power outlet mounted inside the machine's electrical compartment. It gives auxiliary equipment such as the air-assist pump, exhaust fan or other accessories a fixed connection point, so they can be powered from the machine itself instead of loose extension leads running across the workshop floor.

Signs that the socket needs attention include plugs that fit loosely, intermittent power to connected devices, discoloration or a burning smell around the contacts, and a cracked housing. Keep the total load within what the socket and its wiring are rated for, and disconnect the main supply before removing or rewiring it. Any work on it should be done by a qualified electrician.
