Description

A power EMI filter sits at the mains input of a machine and suppresses electrical noise travelling in either direction on the supply line. In laser and CNC equipment it keeps interference from motors, drivers and power supplies away from the controller and limits the noise fed back into the building wiring. This unit is intended for a 220 V supply.

Noise problems often appear as random controller resets, lost communication with the computer, or axes that twitch or lose position.
