Cable drag chain – 1 Meter

Description

A cable drag chain is a flexible carrier made of linked segments that guides the moving cables and hoses of CNC routers, laser machines and plasma tables, from motor leads and spindle cables to air or coolant lines, along each axis. It keeps them organised and stops them from tangling, rubbing against the frame or getting pinched. This item is a one-meter section; links can be added or removed to suit the travel.

Replace the chain when you find cracked links, connecting pins working loose, sagging that drags on the machine, or worn spots on the cable jackets inside it. Avoid overfilling it, lay the cables straight rather than twisted, and make sure both end brackets are secure so the chain rolls through its natural bend.

Measure the inner width and height of your existing chain and its bending radius, then work out how many meters the axis travel requires and what end brackets are fitted. With those figures, the Top Laser team can suggest a chain that fits.
