Description

The STARFIRE SF2310-S is a CNC control system for cutting machines, used on plasma tables to run the cutting program. It reads the part file, coordinates the drives on each axis, and switches the torch on and off at the right moments, turning a nested drawing into finished parts.

Plasma cutting generates strong electrical noise, so a stable controller depends on good grounding, shielded signal cables routed away from the torch leads, and a clean power feed. Keep the cabinet closed against dust, and back up the parameters and any custom programs before servicing.
