Large Coolling Fan

Description

This large cooling fan moves air through the enclosures of CNC and laser machines, where power supplies, drivers and other electronics produce heat during long jobs. By drawing in cooler air or exhausting warm air from the cabinet, it helps the electronics stay within a safe operating temperature and reduces unexpected shutdowns.

A fan that is failing tends to spin slowly, rattle, vibrate or stop altogether, and in dusty workshops the blades and guard can clog quickly. Clean the fan with the power disconnected, check that it is blowing in the intended direction, and do not cover the vents. Overheating alarms or electronics that feel unusually hot are good reasons to inspect it.
