Nozzle YK-100H (1.2mm – 1.6mm – 1.8mm)

Description

This is the nozzle for the YK-100 series plasma torch, offered with 1.2 mm, 1.6 mm and 1.8 mm orifice diameters. The nozzle focuses the arc into a narrow column, and its orifice size is chosen to suit the cutting current: smaller orifices for lower current and thinner sheet, larger ones for higher current and thicker plate.

Running a nozzle above the current it is sized for quickly enlarges the orifice and spoils edge quality, while an oversized orifice at low current gives a wide, rough kerf. Swap the nozzle when the hole looks oval or ragged, the arc wanders, or dross increases. Always pair it with a matching electrode.
