CO2 Laser Machine Blade Table
Description
A blade table, also called a knife or slat table, replaces the honeycomb bed of a CO2 laser machine with a row of thin upright metal strips. The material rests only on the narrow edges of the blades, so contact with its underside is minimal and the beam passing through the sheet has more room to dissipate.
This layout is preferred for thicker acrylic, MDF and wood, and for jobs where small offcuts should drop clear of the surface. Blades can be removed or repositioned to support pieces of different sizes. Inspect the top edges regularly, since burned or notched blades leave marks on the back of the work, and scrape off resin build-up before it starts to ignite.
When ordering, note the dimensions of the bed, the depth of the blades and the spacing of the slots in the frame, or send a photo with measurements. The Top Laser spare-parts department will compare these details with the CO2 table options on hand.
