YakoTec. Driver MS-L3
Description
The YakoTec MS-L3 is a motor driver: the electronic module that sits between the machine's controller and an axis motor. It receives low-power pulse and direction signals from the control board and converts them into the current that moves the motor by exact increments on CNC routers and laser machines.
When a driver is failing, its alarm LED may light, the motor it feeds may lose steps, vibrate without turning or lock up, and the module may run unusually hot. Before replacing it, swap it with the driver from another axis to see whether the fault follows the driver or stays with the motor and wiring, and always switch off power before touching its terminals.
Read the full model from the label and note the motor it drives and your supply voltage. After fitting the new unit, copy any current and resolution settings from the old one so the axis keeps its calibration. Ask Top Laser's team to confirm that the MS-L3 suits your motor before you order.
