Schneider AC servo motor 750 W
Description
This is a 750 W AC servo motor from Schneider, used to drive the axes of CNC machines where precise positioning and strong torque across the speed range are needed. Unlike a stepper, a servo works in a closed loop: a shaft encoder reports the actual position to the drive, which corrects any deviation.
Typical symptoms include drive alarms for overload or encoder faults, vibration or noise while holding position, overheating, and lost position after an aggressive move. Check cables and connectors first, since a damaged encoder lead is behind many of these alarms. When installing, align the coupling carefully, never hammer on the shaft, and never connect the motor to mains without its drive.
A servo motor works as a pair with its drive, so a replacement must match the encoder type, flange size, shaft diameter and connector layout, not just the 750 W rating. Photograph the motor nameplate and the drive label and send them to Top Laser; our technicians will confirm compatibility first.
