Cable Drag Chain – 110 cm

Description

A cable drag chain is a flexible track of linked segments that carries and guides cables and hoses along a moving axis. On CNC routers, laser and plasma machines it protects motor cables, sensor leads and air or coolant hoses from tangling, abrasion and sharp bends as the gantry travels. This chain is supplied in a 110 cm length.

Watch for cracked or broken links, side plates that have popped open, a chain that sags and rubs the frame, or cables twisted inside it, any of which can cause intermittent electrical faults that are hard to trace. Lay cables side by side without crossing, leave a little slack, and keep heavier cables toward the outer edges. Fix both chain ends firmly to their brackets so it rolls in a smooth loop.

Measure the inner width and height of your existing chain, note how its end brackets attach, and check the bend radius your cables need. Links can usually be added or removed to suit the axis, and Top Laser can confirm the right chain section.
