Power socket with fuse

Description

This is the panel-mounted power inlet where the machine's mains cable plugs in, combined with a fuse holder in the same housing. Common on CO2 laser machines and control boxes, it gives the power cord a secure connection and cuts the supply when current exceeds the fuse rating.

If the machine shows no sign of power, check here first. Unplug the cable, pull out the fuse drawer and inspect the fuse; replace a blown one only with a fuse of the same rating, never a higher value or a wire bridge. Replace the socket itself if the housing is cracked, the contacts are loose or discolored, or the plug warms up during work.

Before ordering, note the number of terminals, the size of the panel cut-out, whether a switch is built in, and the fuse size marked near the drawer. Bring the old socket to the Top Laser spare-parts outlet in Shubra, or send a picture to any branch, to get a correct match.
