Power supply 120W

Description

This 120W power supply belongs to the CO2 laser family: it generates the high voltage that drives a laser tube of matching rating. It takes an enable signal from the water-protection circuit and a power-level signal from the control board, then delivers the current the tube needs.

Many apparent supply faults start elsewhere, so first check that the chiller is running and the water-protection switch closes, that the laser-enable signal arrives, and that the earth connection is sound. If all of that is fine and the tube still will not fire, or the beam weakens while the tube is known to be healthy, suspect the supply.
